I love how simple tea is. Just some dried leaves from a plant. Tea is everywhere and it is affordable. The only problem is replicating that cup of tea. It is going to be a little different each time. Based off the amount of water used, the temperature of the water, time steeped. If you are using a microwave, the make, the model, the age of the appliance, the temperature it is brought to. It is not an exact science. Everybody has a slightly different method. Do you squeeze your bags? Etc. So how do you know if you are doing it “right”? The amounts of tea I suggest using is what works for me based on my experience of how I make a glass. You shouldn’t feel lacking throughout the day, like it is just not enough. At the same time you don’t want to be too womped up. That throws everything off. You should feel good.
