Another excellent tea that is relatively unknown. Feels very similar to green tea but with a sweet taste. Although coffee leaf tea and yaupon feel similar to green tea, their goodies must be different. I don’t notice any cross tolerance. Yaupon is a holly native to North America. It is related to yerba mate [Genus Ilex]. What this means to me is they will share much of the same goodness. If you prefer or are able to find yerba mate easier then use it instead.
